The Black Knights just can't catch a break with all of these heartbreaking losses. The Knights have suffered yet another devastating loss to the Bucknell Bison. It was a tough and hard fought game on both sides. At a couple points Army was ahead, but just couldn't keep the lead. The Bison pulled their lead to four late in the fourth quarter. With only a couple minutes left the Army squad cut that lead to two, but there just wasn't enough time to come back.
I hate to point out negatives but every team has them. The freshman LSM Tim Henderson, who has been playing excellent, got burnt a few times in this game, which produced easy goals.
And once again critical goals and great preformance came from Sophomores Jeremy Boltus and Rob McCallion. The sophmore goalkeeper Tom Palesky played a great game once again trying to defeat the Bison, which they just can't seem to do.
The Knights just can't get over these close games and they need a win to boost up their confidence.

Colgate Game
Another tough loss for the Black Knights on Sunday. It looks like the Black Kinghts just can't catch a break in the overtime situation games. The Black Knights lost 10-9 to the undeafeated Patriot League team, Colgate. Tom Palesky saved 14 shots in this heartbreaker. Once again the sophomore class helped Army stay in this game, with great defense by Bill Henderson and John Ciavarelli. Another great offfensive game by the sophomore class, with Jeremy Boltus with two goals and Rob McCallion with one. In the first overtime the Black Knights had two oppurtunities to seal a victory. The Black Knights won the faceoff and slowed the ball down. Rob McCallion took a great shot but hit post. Jeremy Boltus took another shot a minute or two later but it flew over the goal. Freshman LSM Tim Henderson has been having an incredible year so far. With one goal yesterday and outstanding defensive preformance he is one of the best freshman defenseman in the Nation!

Army Sports Page
After the devastating loss on tuesday the Black Knight supporters gave a summery of the game including goals, assists, and qoutes from the coach. I think that the Knights put up a good fight and instead of putting their heads down after this defeat they should use it as fuel to dominate the Patriot League.

Hofstra Game
Last night's game was a very difficult game for the black knights. They lost such close game in double overtime against Hofstra. The knights had many opportunities to seal the victory, but the couldn't finish. The #6 Hofstra had difficulty handling the black knights and getting a good lead. Unfortunately Hofstra was able to get one last goal in the second overtime. The black knights put up a good fight and came so close a couple times but the goalkeeper for Hofstra was every where. Tom Palesky was a brick wall on tuesday night with 18 saves.

Army vs Navy Coming Soon
Every fan of lacrosse should be marking their calendar for one of the greatest rivals in sporting competition. The annual Army vs Navy lacrosse game. This year it will take place on April 11 at MT&T Bank Stadium in Maryland. The Cadets won the advantage last year as they dominated the Navy midshipman! The season is not going well for the Midshipman this year, and Army is stronger than ever, the Navy coaches have already been seen at games trying to scout a way to beat Army this year. The old saying GO Army Sink Navy is becoming an expectation as Army looks for a repeat performance from last year. And after looking at the Navy Schedule, I expect the Black Knights to come out dominating again. The Army goalie is dominant and is the number one goalie in NCAA!
Army Offense
The Black Knights of the Hudson have a great first line of midfielders returning from their great season last year. They are led by Sophomore Rob McCallion who was ranked the seventh best freshman in the Country. He has the stellar stick skills that it takes to compete at the Division I level and he is a great team player. He along with Kevin LaRusso and Anthony Maisano take on the long poles and the short sticks to orchestrate a beautiful offense in motion. The attack led by Jason Peyer, Brooks Korvin and Jeremy Boltus, have combined for over 50 goals already this season. They pass and move better than both the Duke and the Hopkins offense. Clearly this year Army defense will be on the radar as one of the best in Division I but their offensive units will dominate the lacrosse season, with style, speed and skill. The Navy team should be scared this year, as they will not be able to compete with this year's army team!
Army Defense
The strength of the Army team lies with its defensive squad, headed by Bill Henderson, Tim Henderson and John Civarelli. All three are young, have fast stick skills and are team players. Each guy knows exactly where the offensive man will be on a clear and they run a fast break as smooth as Kobe Bryant. The defense has not allowed many goals this season, up until last night's game. Look for more headlines detailing the strength and the determination of this young but one of the top three defensive units in the NCAA as well as one of the strongest in the patriot league this season. Tom Palesky, Army's goalie has denied access to the net all season, and is one of the best Divison I goalies in the country.
Army Lacrosse
Last evening Army lost a tough game versus Lehigh. The team led by nine goals at one point. Many fans walked away frustrated and in disbelief. The Army lacrosse team did play a great first half with tremendous passing and great defense. The second half was a different story, losing all the faceoffs Army rarely had possession, and the other team was able to connect on nine straight goals. Even though I was disappointed, I still believe that Army will finish a strong schedule with more wins than loses and hopefully, they will win the Patriot League and that the team will have an automatic bid to this year's NCAA playoffs in Baltimore. Once again, led by a dominating sophmore class.

Army Lacrosse
The Army Lacrosse team played a tenacious game this past weekend defeating Air Force. There is no doubt in my mind that this lacrosse team will be a cinderella team come May and will find their ranking among the top 20 this season. Sophomore's Bill Henderson, Jeremy Boltus, Tom Palesky and Rob McCallion are leading the team and are definitely among the top sophomore's in the country this year.
